Taylor Wicklund, Policy Coordinator
Taylor assists in generating and advocating for just environmental policy and helps to facilitate the policy advocacy team at MNIPL. She joins us as a Fellow with Quaker Voluntary Service after recently receiving her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Geography from Gustavus Adolphus College. At Gustavus, Taylor's research sought to understand the perspectives of conventional farmers on the impacts of the increased role of financial speculation within the agricultural sector. Through this, she gained a deep appreciation for and interest in alternative food systems. Taylor believes environmental change must utilize grassroots perspectives to develop sustainable solutions for all. When she is away from advocacy, she enjoys making time with others, practicing yoga, knitting, reading, and singing.
