Joshua Marzahn, Outreach & Administrative Fellow

As Outreach & Administration Fellow, Joshua supports MNIPL's engagement activities to develop the interfaith climate justice network. These activities include volunteer recruitment, event planning, tabling at outreach events, enrolling congregations for energy efficiency improvements, and coordinating MNIPL service projects with U of M students. Before joining MNIPL, he held the positions of event coordinator and building facilitator at the Historic Wesley Center in downtown Minneapolis, where he worked with various nonprofits in addressing community needs. After working at the Historic Wesley Center, he began consulting other nonprofits by helping them strengthen and scale their work, as well as, teaching a community education course on nonprofit development. Joshua is originally from the Twin Cities and graduated from the University of Minnesota with an individualized studies degree concentrated in Sustainability Studies, Communication Studies, and Social Justice. Outside of his work, Joshua enjoys hanging out with friends, break dancing, playing guitar, and rock climbing.
