Claire Psarouthakis
Office Manager | she/her
Claire Psarouthakis is MNIPL's part-time Office Manager. Claire has a Master's in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor's from Michigan State University in Comparative Cultures and Politics. Claire believes deeply in the power of communities to create widespread change throughout the world. She has witnessed this firsthand as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for One Voice Mixed Chorus, as a Clinic and Health Team Volunteer for the US Peace Corps in Botswana, and as a Disaster Relief Volunteer responding to Hurricane Maria and the Alameda Fires.
Claire knows that intersectional identities are critical to sustainable movement building, and tries to be aware of how her queer, Irish-Catholic, cis, white, pineapple pizza-loving self can impact spaces she works in. She lives in NE Minneapolis with her spouse Erika, and their cat Bob. She was born and raised in Michigan, as the eldest of three, and moved to Minnesota in 2015. Claire loves that she lives in a state with so many places to swim, bike, hike, and breathe, and is pumped to support the work that MNIPL is doing."
