Northern Minnesota MNIPL Fall Primer Picnic

Geoff Witrik’s home on Park Point!, Duluth (address to follow).  Come join us for our Fall kick off with a beach party! We’ll enjoy Park Point’s sandy Superior beach, and with boat rides in Lake Superior thrown in!  And of course we’ll eat, and talk about the upcoming Fall initiatives and events. Please join Scot Zellmer, faculty of Communications and American Indian Affairs at Minnesota State University for an evening where we examine our own local history and perhaps see the narrative through a different lens. St. John’s Episcopal Church, Mankato. In response to the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition’s most recent Poverty Progress Report, members of the Greater Mankato community are invited to gather for a conversation about the barriers that continue to impact people living in poverty in our region. We will hear from community members who work with people experiencing homelessness, immigrants and refugees, and people who face economic instability. There will be plenty of time for discussion and ways to get involved.
