Youth N’Power Presents: Earth Week Northside Street Clean Up!

For Earth Week this year, Youth N’Power is hosting an event on Sunday, April 24! As youth apprentices are learning to navigate the Environmental Justice movement, we are excited to present an opportunity to focus on cleaning up the streets surrounding the Harrison Neighborhood in North Minneapolis. Join us as we give our energy to our environment and talk with community members about ways that we can collectively reduce our waste production.

Please arrive at the back field behind 1800 Glenwood Ave N, Minneapolis by 1:30 PM for a prompt send out time of 2:00 PM. We will do a 2 hour street clean up along designated routes, and participants will be broken into teams that will be led by a youth apprentice team lead. We WILL have some food/refreshments at the end of the event!

We encourage and invite you to bring any gloves or supplies you have access to, and we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated throughout the day!

Please come ready to pick up some trash, build community, and take the lead of young community organizers, all while celebrating Earth Day!
