Unnatural Gas: Challenging Methane Gas Proposals at the PUC
Join us for our virtual lunch and learn, Unnatural Gas: Challenging Methane Gas Proposals at the PUC on Friday, May 31 at noon!
Given our state’s goal to phase out all carbon-based energy, it is critical that climate justice voices are heard in the public comment process to challenge utility companies’ use of this carbon-producing gas!
We’ll hear from Brian Edstrom and Olivia Carroll, Regulatory Advocates of Citizens Utility Board (CUB), with comments from MNIPL’s Greater MN Director Bret Pence. They’ll break down upcoming dockets at the Public Utilities Commission related to methane or “natural” gas, what’s at stake for wise climate policy, and how we can make our voices heard!
