About Colette Pichon Battle:
Ms. Battle is a luminary in the world of environmental justice. As the founder of the Gulf Coast Center for Law & Policy, her leadership has inspired a community-based movement for transformational climate solutions in the Gulf region and nationally. Here in Minnesota, we have a direct connection to Ms. Battle’s work through the Mississippi River and our fight to stop the destructive Line 3 oil pipeline. Ms. Battle offers a profound exploration of the places where climate justice and racial justice intertwine, and a spiritual focus on how to nurture our power and our hope in challenging times.
