Stop the Alberta Clipper Expansion

Stop the Expansion of Tar Sands in Minnesota

Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light is joining forces with the Sierra Club, MN350, and others to stop the expansion of tar sands pipelines now running through northern Minnesota. MN350 is spearheading this work through a contested case hearing at the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. If successful it will prevent the increase of the flow of tar sands oil through our state by 350,000 barrels a day, cutting carbon emissions and lowering the pollution spill risk to our northern woods and waterways.

Time for public comments has run out!  MNIPL faith communities hosted over 20 letter and postcard writing events and produced hundreds of comments for Judge Lipman. Thank you!  And while it is too late to file a public comment, if you want a refresher on the facts, please take time to look at a 5-minute video that tells the story.
