Passport to Climate Justice
We invite you to travel with your passport to explore new areas where you can take action that will move us all toward good stewardship on behalf of all living creatures whose lives depend on a healthy planet. This guide was developed by the Missions Committee of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
About the Passport to Climate Justice
By successfully completing this passport, you will be helping to heal the earth and your relationship to all creation in a few ways:
- By putting your personal “stamp” on the solution.
- By helping to secure a lowering of your personal carbon footprint.
- By building systems in the community that enhance everyone's ability to participate in climate change action.
Here is how it works.
Travel steps toward action on climate justice and complete at least 21 actions from the following action areas:
1. In your home
2. Daily practice
3. Influencing people
4. Engaging policy makers
6. Influencing organizations- your neighborhood, church, workplace, school, etc.
