A Hopeful Earth: Faith, Science, and the Message of Jesus

Join Hopeful Earth CoverMinnesota Interfaith Power and Light and Hamline University's Wesley Center for a special event on the intersections of Spirituality and environmental issues. Conversation will center on the book A Hopeful Earth: Faith, Science, and the Message of Jesus.

Both authors will be there and help lead our discussion.  Rev. Sally Dyck is a Bishop of the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church and her niece, Sarah Ehrman, an Environmental Science Educator in Napa, California.

Events include a chance to worship, listen to a presentation from the authors, engage in discussion, and work on developing a plan of action!  Refreshments will be provided.

Congressman Keith Ellison presents a forum to discuss air quality and public health. Protecting the clean air we breathe is a critical priority. This forum will examine air pollution and links to increased diagnoses of asthma and other respiratory conditions, as well as the importance of maintaining strong standards to protect our health.
